Questions about the Sodatide product
What is Sodatide?
Sodatide is a dietary supplement capsule for metabolic and digestive support. Inside each capsule: 211 mg of chicory root inulin, 100 mg of potato resistant starch and a 36 mg probiotic blend. There are 30 capsules in a bottle.
Who makes Sodatide?
The label lists Instituto Experience of Lakeland, FL 33804 as the distributor, and says it is made in the USA with globally sourced ingredients. The factory is not named. Sodatidenow is an authorized American Sodatide outlet, not the maker.
Is Sodatide a legitimate product?
No. It is a real product with a printed label, a distributor, an order desk and a 60-day refund window. The honest concern is not fraud but dose: the fiber is small next to research amounts, and the CFU count is not published.
Is Sodatide FDA approved?
No. The FDA does not approve any dietary supplement before sale. Brand seals say the product comes from an FDA-registered facility, which describes a factory, not approval, and the label does not name that factory.
Has Sodatide been tested in a clinical study?
Not that we could find. Its ingredients have been studied, but at much larger doses, such as 12 to 16 g of inulin a day. No published human trial has tested this exact formula.
Are there verified Sodatide reviews?
Not yet. The brand's sample reviews are marked as layout copy, so we show no star ratings, names or quotes. We will publish verified reviews, good and bad, once we can match them to orders.
Does Sodatide help with weight loss?
Sodatide makes no weight-loss claim. Its three label claims are metabolic and digestive support, appetite control and satiety, and energy production from fats, each marked with the FDA asterisk.
Formula
Ingredients and dose
What are the ingredients in Sodatide?
Chicory root inulin 211 mg, potato resistant starch 100 mg, and a 36 mg probiotic blend of B. infantis, C. butyricum and A. muciniphila. The other ingredients are hypromellose, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate and silica.
How many CFU are in Sodatide?
The label does not say. It gives the probiotic blend as 36 mg by weight, and weight does not tell you how many live bacteria are inside. Listing CFU on a label is voluntary in the US.
How much of each strain is in the blend?
That is not published. The label names three strains inside the 36 mg blend but does not split the amount between them.
How does the dose compare with research?
The inulin is about 1.3% to 1.8% of the 12 to 16 g used in studies. The potato resistant starch is about 0.3% of the 30 g used in trials. The probiotic part cannot be compared without a CFU count.
Does Sodatide contain caffeine or stimulants?
No stimulants and no caffeine are listed on the label. The capsule is made only of the three actives and four capsule helpers.
Is Sodatide vegetarian and gluten-free?
The label calls the hypromellose capsule vegetarian. It lists no wheat, barley or rye, but it prints no gluten-free statement and no allergen statement.
See every amount with its studies on the Sodatide ingredients page.
Directions
How to take Sodatide
How do I take Sodatide?
Take one capsule a day with an 8 oz. glass of water. That is the full label dose for adults.
What time of day should I take it?
The label does not set a time. The brand suggests the morning, before a meal, which is fine as a tip. Taking it at the same time each day makes it easier to remember.
Can I take it with coffee?
The label does not address coffee. It says to take the capsule with an 8 oz. glass of water, so use water for the capsule itself. If you have a medical reason to limit coffee, ask your doctor.
Does it need refrigeration?
The label says "Refrigerate for optimal quality" and to store it in a cool, dry place away from heat, light and humidity. The brand adds a tip to refrigerate after opening to protect the probiotics.
What if I miss a dose, or want to take two?
The label does not cover missed doses. Just take the next capsule as usual and do not double up, because the label says do not exceed the recommended dose.
How long does it take to work?
No timeline is published. Studies on these ingredients ran 2 to 12 weeks, so judge it over 4 to 8 weeks, inside the 60-day refund window.
Safety
Sodatide safety questions
Does Sodatide have side effects?
The most likely ones are gas, bloating and softer stools in the first one to two weeks, from the added fiber. They are usually mild. Stop and get help for a rash, swelling or trouble breathing.
Who should not take Sodatide?
Anyone under 18, and pregnant or nursing women, unless a doctor says yes. People with a weakened immune system or a known medical condition should ask a doctor first.
Can I take Sodatide with my medicine?
Ask your doctor or pharmacist first, especially if you take immune-suppressing drugs, antibiotics or diabetes medicine. Bring the label so they can see the exact amounts.
Can I take it while on antibiotics?
Antibiotics can kill the bacteria in the capsule. Ask your pharmacist how far apart to space the two, and do not change the antibiotic schedule.
Can pregnant women or children take it?
The label says pregnant or nursing mothers and children under 18 should consult a physician before use. This site treats it as an adult product.
Every caution is covered on the Sodatide side effects page.
